Mr. Bernard J. Phillips Jr. 44 of Coxton passed away Saturday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Pittston. He was the son of the late Bernard and Elizabeth Laurence Phillips Sr. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. He was formerly employed by Mr. Z's. Duryea.  Bernard was a member of the Polish Falcons Nest 128, Duryea.

Sister: Jo Ann of Duryea
Niece: Corrine of Duryea
Nephew: TJ of Duryea
Uncle: William of Duryea

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convince of the family. Funeral Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc. 204 Main Street Duryea.

Really sorry to hear of his passing. I first met him in Kindergarten, at Duryea Elementary School. As Geno said, I always remembered him as "Barnyard".
