Mrs. Barbara A. Yankowski, of Pittsford, New York, formerly of Duryea, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at the Advent House, Fairport, New York.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Amelia Grabowski Molewski. She was a graduate of Duryea High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College.

She enjoyed gardening.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, John Yankowski, who passed away in 2007, brothers, Aloysious, Francis and Daniel and granddaughter, Lena Marek.

Daughter, Eileen Bouquet and her husband Pierre, of Cedex, France
Daughter, Joyce Marek and her husband, Wolter, of San Matso, California
Daughter, Andrea Yankowski of Berkeley, California

Five Grandchildren:
Jeanne, Louise, Laura, Milo and Nico

Sister, Eleanor Molewski of New York and Florida
Sister, Regina Bernard of Duryea
Sister, Bernadette Molewski of Wilkes-Barre
Brother, Stanley Molewski of Pocohontas, Arkansas
Brother, Titus Molewski of Scranton

She has many nieces and nephews, including one special niece, Pat and her husband, Andrew Murman, of Duryea. She is also survived by her faithful friend, her dog, Joey.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Advent House, 1010 Moseley Road, Fairport, New York 14450.
