Mr. Arthur J. Webb Jr., 71, of Duryea, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.

Born in Pittston on October 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Veda Hoover Webb Sr. With the help of his wife and sons, Art was the owner and operator of AW Hauling, West Pittston. Art was a strong, independent and fair man who if you met him, you would love him. He loved nature and enjoyed taking hikes, fishing and hunting with his sons and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Webb, sister, Veda Dunstan and brother, Kenneth Webb.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Carole Webb.

Also surviving are:
Son, Arthur Webb III of Pittston
Son, Michael Webb and his wife, Christine, of Jenkins Township
Son, Matthew Webb and his wife, Joan, of Pittston Township

He was blessed with 11 grandchildren, which were the pride and joy of his life.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Pittston Cemetery, Pittston.
