Mr. Anthony J. Barbush, of Duryea, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Cimakasky Barbush. He was a graduate of Duryea High School, where he played on the football team. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Sanitation Department, Old Forge.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Carson, who passed away on July 20, 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at 11:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Duryea. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are by the Berenard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
