Mrs. Ann M. Jordan, 85, of Pittston, formerly of Clark Summit, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Towsnhip.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Helen Potts Maloney. She was a graduate of St. Ann's High School, Scranton. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Clark Summit State Hospital, Clark Summit.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clark Summit.
She was a loving mother, grandma and great grandma. She enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and spending time with her dogs, Cooper and Penny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Jordan, who passed away on April 24, 1978, son, James Martin Jordan, who passed away in 2008, brother, Frank and sister, Joan Jobst.

Son, John Robert Jordan and his wife, Lisa, of Nebraska
Daughter, Patricia Young and her husband, Dan, of Pittston
Son, John Thomas Jordan and his wife, MaryBeth, of New Jersey
Six grandchildren
Tiffany, Amarissa, Stephen, Ashley, Zachariah and Noah
Three great grandchildren
Caleb, Kennedy and Jacob
Brother, Thomas Maloney of Scranton
Brother, Gerald Maloney and his wife, Ann Marie, of Clark Summit
Nieces and nephews
Funeral will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 9:30 am in St. John the Evangelist Church, 35 William Street, Pittston with the Rev. Peter Tomczak officiating. Interment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
