Ms. Ann Loftus, of Pittston, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017, at Wesley Village, Pittston.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna McLane Loftus. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, Pittston. She was a volunteer at Wilkes Barre General Hospital, Wilkes Barre.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerard and James and sister, Jean.

Surviving are:
Cousin, Sister Mary Edward Loftus of Our Lady of the Peace Residence, Scranton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017, at 9:30 am in Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, 535 North Main Street, Pittston with the Rev. Jeffrey Walsh officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Help of Christians Cemetery, Pittston. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, 535 North Main Street, Pittston, PA 18640. To Ann`s family: Accept my condolences on my special friend`s passing. She took me to Church every Saturday, She was always looking out for everbody and would help them in anyway she could.
