Indeed, he was a good, kind and gentle man; quiet and patient, and a wonderful, loving husband. He also cared lovingly for his sister-in-law, Emma, who resided with them until her death. He remarked in a Christmas card to me some years ago how much he missed them. I'm hopeful that he's re-joined them for eternity in heaven with our Lord. Thank you, Andy, for your service, your kindness and your love.

Uncle Andy was a very special gentleman who we of the Pethia family dearly loved and missed since his return to his roots in Pennsylvania. He left us with pleasant memories of our times together. Our last visit with him was in 2008 during a motor trip back East. Words fail me to convey the love and sadness my family feels. God speed in his journey back to those who preceded him. May the lord look favorably on Andy and grant him all that we hope eternity provides.
