Mrs. Adele A. Dawe, 96, formerly of Pittston, a guest at Wesley Village, Pittston, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Valvonis Andrewscavage. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by American Can Company, Hillside, New Jersey.

Adele was a loving mom, grandma and great grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dawe and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are:
Son, Joseph Waschek and his wife, Kathleen, of Cranford, New Jersey
Grandson, Joseph Waschek and his wife, Pati
Grandson, Paul Waschek
Great granddaughter, Tori Waschek
Great grandson, Zachary Waschek
Great granddaughter, Lauren Waschek

Brother, Charles Andrewscavage of Pittston
Sister, Ruth Rincavage of Pittston
Nieces and nephews

A viewing will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Private funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston.
